The curriculum includes core topics such as wound physiology, accurate assessment techniques, debridement methods, moisture management, infection control, and advanced technologies like skin substitutes and negative pressure wound therapy. The program also addresses ulcer-specific management, comorbidities, documentation standards, and coding for reimbursement.
